every little thing i do, designed to glorify you.

I like rap yeah. i'm probably the less qualified in rap knowledge on this whole blog game but sometimes it just doesn't really matter. what attracts me in the rap thing is the fearlessness of it all, the cheap but catchy recuperation of catchy yet sometimes cheap thrilling sounds so that it becomes a grandiloquent musical tapestry allowing rappers to tell all their grandiloquent self-loving tales, i'm a competitor. when i listen to Laffy Taffy/D4L, i understand there's not so much "keeping it real" fake bullshit like with the new wave of rock bands around right now. pure fun. when i listen to From The Planet Of Eat/Cannibal Ox, i understand there's a real will for variety and novelty in this music, unlike with most rock bands today who just lazily copy the old ass recipes of their elderly. hundreds of ideas in a second. Samsascratch couldn't be more wrong when he says that "rap is dead" ; listenning to rap today is for me as if i was listenning to Queen 20 years ago, only way better.

I usually am dubious of female musicians (to the exception of Karin from The Knife of course) cause i'm a sexist bitch and i've heard one too many times Ironic/Alanis Morissette against my wishes. however sometimes i get impressed with an outstanding girl, or maybe a couple of them. Diamond and Princess of Knuck If You Buck/Crime Mob original fame are of the impressive kind. sexy as fuck yet no whinners, agressive go getters in stilletos, sensitives whorish girly girls who don't need no lessons from their male counterparts when it comes to rapping, you've got to love them, beyoncé.

kinda like an updated version of the Brown-Eyed Girl song, only involving self praise and killer beats, it's indeed lovely, here you go:

Georgia Girl/Diamond & Princess

bonus, because it's the end of spring, in the early morning the scents of grass and flowers melt and surround my heart with comfy airy warmth, hello, i love you a little.

Sunshower/Dr. Buzzard's Original Savannah Band
